Russel Wilson began his professional football career in 2012. The Seattle Seahawks selected Wilson during the 77th yearly meeting of the NFL (2012 NFL draft). On August 11, 2012, he made his debut for the pre-season and started his first pre-season against the Kansas City Chiefs on August 24, 2012.
