After a 2 year time jump, grisly murders are occurring in the jungle outside of Mattley’s clinic, murders which the native people are attributing to the same Balakai. A female CIA agent called Claire Sommers recruits Mattley to track down Wessinger and to perhaps solve the murders.
The CIA believes Balakai is real, despite Mattley at first finding it ridiculous. They soon discover that Wessinger had managed to use the beetle enzyme to bring Balakai’s fossil back to life. Balakai was apparently an alien creature that is now back with a vengeance.
Point Blank was a direct to DVD and video from 1998. Its director was Matt Early Beesley and its star was Mickey Rourke. Point Blank was filmed over in Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America. Point Blank’s plot was about a group of prison escapees commandeering a mall, only to ultimately be vanquished by one of their brothers.
Resurrection was a horror movie from 1999. Russell Mulcahy was the director. Robert Joy, Leland Orser, and Christopher Lambert starred in it. It significantly had a cameo by David Cronenberg, playing a priest. The screenplay was written by Brad Mirman.
