Chamillionaire is the stage name of Hakeem Temidayo Seriki, a rap star as well as an entrepreneur who founded the rap collective The Color Changin’ Click in 2001. Beginning in 2002, Chamillionaire also had a solo career.

In April 2011, Chamillionaire dropped Major Pain 1.5, and followed that up with Badazz Freemixes, then Badazz Freemixes 2, and then Badazz Slowmixes.

He made this decision after it came out that white people are eighty seven percent of CEOs backed by venture capitalists, with ninety seven percent of the employees being white men.
Later that year, Chamillionaire put money into Atoms, the very first company to put out footwear that came in quarter sizes rather than just full and half. Initialized Capital, Garry Tan and Alexis Ohanian’s investment firm, led this particular investment.
After that success, Chamillionaire launched an even bigger competition for female and minority led start up companies. One of the judges was Daymond John from Shark Tank.
